AIP WA Annual Dinner and AGM

The Australian Institute of Physics, Western Australian branch, would like to invite you to join us for our annual dinner, AGM and a talk by distinguished Professor Steven Tingay.

Members and their guests are most welcome - we have plenty of space this year!

The evening will kick-off with pre-dinner drinks and networking, followed by a quick AGM for members, then a 3 course dinner with drinks and Prof. Tingay's talk.

The Square Kilometre Array in Western Australia: a path to fundamental physics

The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project aims to establish the world's largest radio telescopes, in South Africa and Western Australia.  The pursuit of fundamental physics, through astrophysics and cosmology, drives the engineering and planning for the SKA.  What is the SKA and what will it do?  What are the challenges?  And what is it like, working in an international mega-science project over 20+ years?

The evening follows the AIP WA Student Conference and will see students, university and industry members attending.

Book your ticket now!
